Our Lives, Our Animals
Here are some pictures of the loves of our lives: each other (of course), as well as our dog friends—past and present—and our cat, enjoying their favorite sport (lounging in comfort) and a few other activities.
By the way, our greyhounds are rescues through Greyhound Adoption of Greater Cincinnati, a terrific organization that we enthusiastically recommend.

One-eyed Jordie, one of our retired greyhound racers, with big sister Zelda in the background.

Jordie trying to go through the cat door. Zelda looking lovely in the living room.

Zelda patrolling the fence line. Zelda and big brother Logan napping.

Gentle Logan enjoying the yard and his bed.

Two of our lost loves: smiling Maizy on the left and big old teddy bear Alex on the right. We lost them in 2010 and 2008.

Our dear Glory. We said goodbye to her in May 2010.

Alex and Glory enjoying the snow. Our part-time dog, Izzy, who stayed with us in 2009 and 2010.

Sweet, smart Lily on the left. She’s been gone since late December of 2007. Lucy, our kitty matriarch. She’s about 16 years old and going strong.

More of Lucy. On the right, before she lost weight. This shows her as “Cinder Block Cat.” She’s now svelte!

My beloved Virgil with his radio-controlled plane and his clown pants. And our home.
