Meaningful and Caring Holiday Giving
You may already have started your holiday shopping. As you shop, please consider this: Small businesses, like the one that Virgil and I run, need your help to stay in business.
The Backbone of American Business
Small businesses matter, certainly to the business owners, but they also matter to you. Why?
Consider Virgil and me. We’re just two people, but here are some things we’d like you to know:
‣We create jobs. In just the last year, we added an employee. And we’re in the process of creating and filling an additional part-time job.
‣We support other small businesses, like our part-time assistant, our part-time housekeeper, and our landscaper. All of those are small businesses, like us.
‣We pay taxes, unlike a lot of huge corporations.
‣We offer products that are made here in the United States of USA ingredients.
‣And we’re real people whom you can talk to and get to know, unlike the impersonal shopping experiences people so often have.
And, of course, we are buying as many gifts as we can from small business owners. We hope you’ll do the same!
‣Photography. Our portraits make wonderful gifts, whether you give a gift certificate for a private portrait session or you give a gift of framed prints that we’ve shot for you. See Portraits for examples of our portraits. And see Gift Certificates for information on our photo gift certificates.
‣For dogs. Among our three product lines, we have so many ideas for dogs (and dog lovers). Here are some highlights:
‣Tasty Rewards Training Treats. A treat that’s healthy, delicious, holistic, and very motivating. Even greyhounds learn tricks with Tasty Rewards!
‣Gourmet Dental Treats. Dogs think it’s a treat, but it’s really a well-rounded supplement for dental health. Our dogs think they’re delicious!
‣Flea Free Food Supplement. A healthy, natural approach to freedom from fleas!
‣4Life Transfer Factor Canine Complete. A supplement that features Transfer Factor for immune health, along with essential vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, amino acids, and protein.
‣Gift Certificates. Available in any amount from $5 to $500.
‣Dr Jane HealthyPetNet Foundation. For an especially meaningful gift, please consider a donation in a pet lover’s name to this foundation that supports well-run but deserving pet rescues and shelters.
‣For cats. We also have many offerings for cats and their people:
‣Flea Free Food Supplement. A healthy, natural approach to freedom from fleas!
‣4Life Transfer Factor Feline Complete. A supplement that features Transfer Factor for immune health, along with essential vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, amino acids, and protein.
‣Gift Certificates. Available in any amount from $5 to $500.
‣Dr Jane HealthyPetNet Foundation. For an especially meaningful gift, consider a donation in a pet lover’s name to this foundation that supports well-run but deserving pet rescues and shelters.
‣Revitalizing Clay Mask. A refreshing mask for face, feet, and hands! Virgil and I love to use the clay mask together for some relaxing couple’s time.
‣Ennumi Personal Care Lotions, Toner, etc. A family of gentle, effective products for personal pampering. Lotions, skin toner, facial cleanser, eye cream, and more to choose from.
‣Energy Go Stix. A great boost for anyone on the go and a delicious complement to a weight-management plan.
‣Gift Certificates. Available in any amount from $5 to $500.
‣For hostess gifts. How about festive handmade items from my own sewing room and my wonderful stash of fabrics? I’m going to put some photos up on my website soon.
‣Table runners, reversible, featuring two different fabrics (such as one holiday fabric and an autumn or floral on the other side)
‣Placemats, reversible, made of colorful cotton prints or fun/practical oilcloth
‣Hot pads/potholders, made of festive cotton prints and filled with batting
‣Christmas stockings, made of cheery holiday prints

I hope we’ve given you lots of ideas. Please feel free to call us at 937-436-5788. And keep in mind other small business owners who also appreciate your patronage.
And as always, Virgil and I thank you for your business. Happy holidays!
